Post #2. Area Of Expertise
The "genius", which definition as the god gave some particular ability on some aspects when you was born. It indicate at you are good at some technologies or branches of learning, for example, Einstein, maybe he was not a good student, but he was a genius on physics. In my opinion, everyone should have their own genius on something, no matter is very exceptional or good at some small things, even play toy.
Talk about my own, I also can remember that when I was young, I always like to dismantle something, like shabby remote control unit and some simple electronics. At that time I just wonder how it can work without people, but final, I could package it back. As the growth of the age, I began to play the "fourwheel drive", which is a kind of toy that driven by motor, I could make up the toy without teach and specification. And I also like to make up anything, when I get a new, strange things like mobile phone and other electronics, I will use then without learn how to use that before, I am interest in explore it's function and usage.
But, like "Zhuyong Fang" who was good at write poems 1000 years ago, but his parents hadn't paid attention on that, then Fang lost his ability forever (baike.baidu.com). At that time , I just paid attention on study, so I felt that I lose the ability. Also, I was not interest to be a engineer, so I didn't feel regret.
Right now I just want to develope my own habit, to achieve my own dream.

ReplyDeleteYour passion for gears, motors, and electronics is a fascinating one-- frankly, I'm impressed by anyone who is brave enough to take something apart, gut the inner wires, coils, etc., and be able to put it all back together! It's certainly a USEFUL aptitude to have in life.

ReplyDeleteI strongly believe everyone in this world has one's own great ability. Most of us, however, have no opportunity to shine or float on the surface. We, student, especially in Korea, are taught and learned like a mass production.
To fit in the world, we had to learn how to adjust the real society.
